For the last 25 years, Christy goes by his middle name instead of his first name "John" which he used during the first half of his ministry in the midwest. He is the husband of one and father of two. Wife Bette Lynn is a retired Home Health Physical Therapist, Daughter Rachel teaches elementary school in Grass Valley. Son Robert is with them in Nevada. Bette Lynn and Christy have been in Nevada since May of 2013. Previously Christy was in Akron where he served as a Presbyterian Church Pastor for eight years as part of thirty years in full-time ministry in the Midwest. He enjoys technology, writing, web-slinging, humor, coffee, movies, and science fiction.
Christy serves at ComputerCorps, a non-profit where I help those working to recycle technology and rebuild computers and their lives.
Tuesdays at 8 PM Christy hosts a weekly radio show on community radio KNVC FM 95.1 and streaming on KNVC.org where previous shows are available for the overcurious.
