Korean Presbyterian Church of Reno in Sparks is happy to be hosting the fall meeting of the Presbytery of Nevada. We look forward to sharing times of encouragement, laughter, worship, and prayer as we gather to do the business of the presbytery.
Presbytery will meet September 10-11, 2024
Committees: Monday, Sept 9 – Tuesday, Sept 10, various times (or by Zoom earlier in the month)
Presbytery: 1 PM Tuesday, September 10 – 3 pm Wednesday, Sept 11 NOTE LATER ENDING TIME
Please complete and return the registration/meal reservations and the committee room request form (if applicable)
All those who attend need to submit a registration form, even if they are not purchasing a meal.
ALERT: Pick up of rental cars at Reno-Tahoe Airport takes a significant amount of time. Email the address on the registration form for options.
GOOD NEWS: Baggage claim is usually swift, however!
REGISTRATION IS PAST DUE FOR MEALS BUT USE IT NOW TO EMAIL YOUR PARTICIPATION
Presbyters and guests are responsible for payment to GSR. Some may submit expenses for reimbursements for lodging according to Policy Number 5. Generally, committee members whose committees are meeting are reimbursed for two nights. Other commissioners from churches, Commissioner Ruling Elders and Minister Members not serving on a committee that meets are ordinarily reimbursed for one night. Please see Policy Number 5. Churches are encourage to pay some or all of the expenses of their members attending presbytery.

Room reservations at the Grand Sierra Resort are NOW OPEN for our September Presbyterian Meeting in Reno. We have reduced rate rooms for Sunday, Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday nights. (Thanks to Peggy Hall!)

- To protect everyone’s privacy and security, since the Presbytery has been targeted by email scams in the past.
- Keeping track of the latest version of an attachment in a long email chain can be tricky, and we want to make things easier.
- Emails can get lost, and searching for missing ones or requesting resends takes time.

- Not all documents are ready at the same time, and sending multiple emails over weeks can be overwhelming to track.
- Web links are easy to update when needed, so we can quickly correct any mistakes.
