Daylight Savings Time Starts the Sunday Before Presbytery
Green Valley Presbyterian Church is happy to be hosting our spring meeting of the Presbytery of Nevada. We look forward to sharing times of encouragement, laughter, worship, and prayer as we gather to do the business of the presbytery.
Our spring presbytery meetings will be held March 11-13:
Committees: Monday, March 11 – Tuesday, March 12 various times and days
Presbytery: 1 PM Tuesday, March 12 – Noon Wednesday, March 13
Please complete and return the registration, meal reservations, and the committee request form (if applicable) by Friday, February 16 to Carol Johnson at caroljohnson@greenvalleypres.com. (Forms below)
Given the cost of booking a block of rooms, we are asking you to plan to book your own hotel accommodation. We are recommending Sunset Station Hotel and Casino; however, a list of other nearby hotels is also provided with the registration materials.

Why didn’t you email everyone attachments?
- The Presbytery has been the target of scams due to the harvesting of mass emails
- Keeping track of which email attachment is the latest one in a chain of emails is difficult.
- Emails get lost. Searches for missing emails and requests for resend are time consuming to manage
- This page is always current. Also at: https://pbyl.ink/mar2024
- Not all documents are ready at the same time and from the same person to email all at once. Chasing multiple emails over days is a barrier to effective participation.
- Web links are easier to change than sent emails. We do make mistakes.
- The post keeps attachments together for reference in the future
