Nicaragua is the second poorest nation in our hemisphere. Join us for this amazing experience serving in Nicaragua. We are combining two trips this year, an Adult and Youth trip from February 14th to February 25th with an optional Extended Adult trip to San Juan Del Sur starting February 14.
The Extended Adult Trip will be flying in on Wednesday, February 14th with the Youth joining them February 17th. We will be picked up at the airport and whisked to the beach side community of San Juan Del Sur for three days experiencing the beautiful waterfalls, beaches, a sea turtle sanctuary, and culture of Nicaragua. We will have a day in the exquisite Colonial capitol of Granada visiting a cigar factory and taking a bird tour with a Naturalist at Lake Granada. On Saturday morning we will be driving back to Managua where we will enjoy a lunch at the CEPAD Guest House and meet-up with our Youth volunteers.
On Wednesday we will take a chartered bus to the beautiful city of León and stay at a small hotel. We will then visit our friends at the school in León. During the afternoon and evenings we will have a chance to climb a volcano and visit a coffee plantation. On Saturday we return to CEPAD for our final dinner.
