Southern Nevada Presbyterian Clergy Christmas Brunch

It was a joy to gather with pastors and their families on Saturday, December 3 at Green Valley Presbyterian Church for an Advent/Christmas celebration.  Nineteen were able to attend and to enjoy the fellowship around the festive tables.

A hearty brunch was followed with a time of sharing special Christmas moments, reflecting on a devotional, playing a game that tested our knowledge of Christmas music and singing some favorite carols, accompanied on piano by Rev. Lee Styer.  Our special guest was Presbytery of Nevada Moderator Scott Plummer.

It was a lovely morning of food, fellowship, and gratitude to God for the greatest gift – our Savior Jesus Christ.  Everyone left with a plate of homemade cookies and an ornament for the Christmas Tree.

We rejoice that we in the Presbytery of Nevada are blessed with such faithful pastors and families, who serve the Lord throughout the year – they are also a precious gift to us all.
