Mission Trip for Flood Relief

Join Green Valley Presbyterian Church in a mission trip (to respond to our call as Christians to put our faith in action). Plan now to help with the flood relief. Baton Rouge, LA this summer.

What:   Mission trip
When:  June 25 – July 1,2017.
Where: Baton Rouge, LA
Who: all folks 16 years of age and up (max. of 20 people.)

If you are interested please email Renee Kelly, Director of Youth Ministry, ASAP.  The deadline to sign up is March 6th.

Estimated cost per person is $744.00.  Mission Outreach and Equipping Ministries will be asked about available funds to  help of set the cost.

While we go to be Christ’s hands and feet.  We also go to be Christ’s ears.  Ministry of Presence is very important in Disaster  work.  Read more about why we do what we do: A Theology of Disaster Relief Work

The mission workers will also be serving with local partners “Rebuilding Together.
