Southern Nevada Presbyterian Clergy Christmas Brunch

Twenty-five pastors and family members gathered on Saturday, December 2 at Green Valley Presbyterian Church for the 3rd Annual Presbyterian Pastors Christmas Brunch  We had a wonderful time enjoying the food and the fellowship around the tables.  The Brunch is a small way of appreciating our wonderful pastors and their families who give so much all year long.

Following words of welcome from our Presbytery Pastor Hilda, Rev. Adrian Doll gave an opening prayer and blessed the food.  After a tasty brunch, Pastor Hilda shared a devotional, then we were blessed by a beautiful and poignant song from Rev. Dana Pope.  Everyone had a chance to tell about a favorite Christmas gift and what made it so special.  We then got competitive, as we played a couple of Christmas games followed by singing some favorite carols, accompanied on piano by Rev. Lee Styer.

It was a lovely morning of food, fellowship and gratitude to God for the greatest gift – our Savior Jesus Christ.  Everyone left with a plate of homemade cookies and an ornament for their Christmas Tree.  A special thanks to Green Valley Presbyterian Church for generously allowing the use of the Fellowship Hall!
