October 15-21 is the Presbytery of Nevada’s Mission Trip to Beaumont, TX to assist victims of Hurricane Harvey. Rev. Jeanie Shaw, Team Leader with PDA (Presbyterian Disaster Assistance), has this flyer for promoting the trip. Please note that time is of the essence as the trip is only weeks away – October 15-21.
We will be partnering with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and staying at Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church in Beaumont, Texas. Disaster Response Ministry will be serving with PDA rebuilding homes damaged and destroyed by the catastrophic flooding. Cost is $400.00 per person which covers food, van transportation, and board. Please make your own travel arrangements to arrive in Houston Sunday, October 15th, at the IAH George Bush International Airport and return home on the 21st.
