Presbytery Helps Families Out of Poverty

NVPbyLogoSideLeavesThe Presbytery of Nevada gave Capital City Circles Initiative a $1000 grant. Each Circle consists of a family working to get out of poverty with three to four Allies who befriend the family and support them on their journey to self- sufficiency. With the help of these Allies, each family (Circle Leader) sets goals that are unique to its own needs and circumstances that will lead to developing the emotional, financial, intellectual and spiritual resources necessary for self-sufficiency and family stability.

This was brought to the committee by Ruling Elder Jim White of Christ Church Gardnerville. Do you have a mission outreach that you would like to bring to Presbytery for support?
