Big Project for a Small Church

Nevada presbytery helped the Lee Vining Community Presbyterian church with a matching grant $7,000 to replace the outdoor water mains for the church and the manse. This will improve water quality by repairing old rusty pipes.

Pastor Rebecca Watkins is looking forward to having rust-free water in the church. Watkins reports an additional $6000 saved by the congregation will be used for the indoor pipes in the church and the manse.

Presbytery Finance Director Vern Manke is pleased with Presbytery funds being used for church’s real needs: “Our Presbytery dollars are at work with our churches, especially our small churches.”
